Thumbs up Acoustic B450

So lately I've been hosting a Sunday afternoon jam session at a local tavern. Seems sometimes it's difficult to get bass players off the couch on Sundays. I decided I'd buy a bass combo to have on hand and fill in a bit myself as need be or have on hand in case someone who plays bass shows up without an amp.

Well, I called the nearest Guitar Center regarding an Acoustic B200 bass combo (1x15, horn, 200 watts output). They said they had a floor model they would let me have for 275 bucks. when I got there, it didn't work. The offered a new in the box 450 watt 2x10 with horn model for $349. I bought it. Got it home, and WOW! This thing rocks! The tone controls actually work, it sounds killer, and the output is enough to shake things off the walls in my garage! If it holds up for the occasional gig, I feel I will have gotten a killer deal from a retailer that heretofore I have not had a lot of respect for. Just thought I'd pass it on.

UPDATE - two months later and it's still rockin' hard enough to shake the scales off a gator

450 watts is a lot of power. it should keep those gators nice and smooth.

Default still amazing!

still going strong. no hiccups, great tone. I have a buyer interested in giving me more than I paid for it! I don't know about their other products, but this one is a keeper!

Sold it, buyer is tickled pink. Made money on the deal too! If I ever need another one, I will not hesitate to buy this brand again.
